Speech and Language Pathologist in Sykesville, MD

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary schools with increased caseloads in the Sykesville, MD area. This role provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development within a supportive educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations.
• Participate in meetings and assist with compliance to district policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP).
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Experience working in school settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage increased caseloads effectively.

Location: Sykesville, MD servicing elementary schools in the area.

Position Details:
