Speech Kids NY is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services for a pediatric case located at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Services will be provided in person to support one student currently receiving care in a hospital setting. The SLP will work collaboratively with caregivers and relevant professionals to support the student’s communication needs.
Scheduling is flexible within the afternoon availability window depending on provider availability.
Position Details
- Caseload: 1 student
- Service Time: 45 minutes per week
- Weekly Compensation Time: up to 2 hours per week (includes travel and documentation)
- Schedule Window: Monday–Friday between approximately 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Experience with AAC support is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy in accordance with the student’s IEP
- Support communication development using AAC strategies when appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and session notes
- Communicate with caregivers and related professionals as needed
- Maintain professional and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license
- CCC-SLP required
- Experience working with pediatric clients preferred
- Ability to commute to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD
