This full-time special education teaching opportunity is based in Benton, LA, serving young learners aged 3 to 4 in a unique itinerant role across multiple school sites. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction within students' homeschool environments, daycares, or Head Start centers, ensuring individualized support and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with state and local curricula to meet diverse learner needs.
- Travel between 3-4 school sites to deliver itinerant services and establish effective mobile learning environments.
- Lead IEP meetings and ensure full compliance with special education requirements.
- Conduct rigorous progress monitoring and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Collaborate closely with parents and community partners to enhance student success.
- Utilize technology and organize learning spaces to foster a positive and engaging climate.
Qualifications:
- Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
- Experience working with young children with special needs in educational or related settings.
