Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with students' needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support within a self-contained classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable educational regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement for Special Education
- Experience working with K-5 students in a special education setting
- Strong understanding of individualized instruction and behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
