A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Fort Myers, FL, supporting multiple elementary and middle schools throughout the academic year, ending June 1, 2026. This contract role involves working on-site across several campuses to provide speech-language support to students ranging in age from PreK through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 50-55 students.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLPA license.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignments include Veterans Park Academy for the Arts PreK-8 (5 days per week), Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days per week) paired with Mirror Lakes Elementary (2 days per week), Oak Hammock Middle (4 days per week) paired with Estero High School (1 day per week).
- On-site work only; remote options are not available.
