School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fort Myers, Florida

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct therapy and support to a caseload of approximately 50-55 students
• Collaborating with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other school staff
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation on student progress
• Supporting a wide range of ages with speech and language interventions
• Traveling between assigned campuses as needed to fulfill your schedule
• Ensuring compliance with all state and district guidelines

Qualifications and requirements:

• Valid Florida Department of Health SLPA license
• Previous experience in a school environment (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of school-based therapy documentation and best practices
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned campuses
• Fingerprinting completed through the AHCA Clearinghouse or ability to complete the necessary credentialing process (including verification or new prints and acquisition or transfer of a JLA badge)
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
