This contract position is scheduled for the 2026 school year, beginning February 16 and ending May 29, with the possibility of extension into Extended School Year services in July. The role requires on-site work split between two schools: Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week), serving children from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.Deliver therapy services tailored to individual student needs in an elementary school setting.Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with district and state policies.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.Qualifications:Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.Ability to work on-site full-time, with a 37.5-hour workweek.Experience working with elementary-aged students (PreK-5th grade) preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Reliable and organized, with a commitment to student-centered services.Location: Baltimore area, MarylandWork Schedule: Monday through Friday, split between two schools as specified.Contract Duration: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with potential ESY extension in July.This opportunity offers valuable experience working in diverse elementary school environments within the Baltimore area.
