Enhance the learning environment for young students by stepping into a dynamic contract role as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position presents the opportunity to make a significant positive impact for children in grades K-2, supporting their emotional, behavioral, and academic needs throughout the school year.
Candidates will help shape early educational experiences by closely collaborating with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals, fostering a nurturing and productive school community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven expertise in administering and interpreting cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Practical experience supporting young learners in K-2 is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-2 students
- Develop individualized intervention strategies that address each student’s unique needs
- Support response-to-intervention processes and monitor student progress
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with teachers and families
- Collaborate proactively with school leadership and educational staff
- Provide crisis intervention services when necessary and deliver ongoing consultation
This is a full-time opportunity, scheduled for 35 hours across the week, spanning from August through June. Working onsite allows for impactful interactions and the ability to directly observe and respond to student needs in real time.
