What you'll bring:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience assessing and supporting PreK-8 student populations
- Ability to work independently within a school-based team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration
- Completion of a district background check and fingerprinting before the start date
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students from PreK through 8th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school professionals to develop and implement appropriate educational interventions
- Ensure district and state compliance with evaluation procedures
- Document findings comprehensively and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
