Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A part-time physical therapist position is available at a school located in Hartford, CT, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role requires 1-2 workdays per week and is scheduled to begin as soon as possible, continuing through June 2026.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct physical therapy services to students with diverse needs across pre-K to 12th grade.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.Document therapy sessions and progress according to school and regulatory guidelines.Attend team meetings and participate in school-based interdisciplinary planning.Qualifications/Experience:Current and valid physical therapy certification.Previous experience working in school settings with children from pre-K to 12th grade.Knowledge of special education processes and ability to work within educational teams.Strong communication and organizational skills.Location:Hartford, CTThis role offers the opportunity to work on a contract basis within an educational environment, supporting student health and development in a dedicated school setting.Candidates with the required certification and school experience are encouraged to apply promptly to contribute their expertise in supporting student therapeutic needs throughout the school year.Compensation for this position ranges from $42.90 to $62.90.
