A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an elementary autism program near Newark, DE. This full-time position requires a compassionate male RBT to take an active role in a dynamic classroom setting. Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Active Delaware PARA Permit
- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Demonstrated expertise in data collection for both behavioral and instructional progress
- Prior work with students who may need physical intervention strategies
- Ability to commit to the full daily schedule (8:45 AM – 4:15 PM EST), with no exceptions for late starts, early departures, or part-time hours
- Comfortable and experienced with providing bathroom support, including toileting, diapering, and personal hygiene
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Willingness to adapt to changing classroom assignments as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent, compassionate behavioral support to students with autism
- Implement physical intervention strategies appropriately when required
- Assist with daily living activities and maintain dignity in hygiene routines
- Accurately record and report behavioral and instructional data
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and administration to provide optimal student support
