Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in schools or special education settings preferred
- Familiarity supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant behavioral and communication needs
- Skilled in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), behavior tracking, and de-escalation strategies
- SafetyCare training is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver intensive behavioral and classroom support to high-needs students with autism
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies as outlined in individualized plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and other professionals to promote student success
- Maintain accurate data on student progress and communicate insights with team members
- Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Support the continuous improvement and adaptation of behavior intervention plans as required
