A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support special education services via telehealth. This position offers part-time hours, Monday through Friday, working approximately 20-25 hours per week from now through June 5, 2026. The location is Marion, NC, with services provided virtually.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations to assess educational needs, learning styles, and program suitability for children referred to special education
- Providing diagnostic information to guide educational planning
- Collaborating with instructional staff to recommend appropriate programs for students with disabilities
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid North Carolina license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Masters degree in school psychology or related educational certification preferred
- Experience working in special education and conducting educational evaluations
