Your day will be dynamic, beginning at 7:20 AM and concluding at 3:10 PM, engaging with students in a supportive environment committed to their educational and developmental needs. You’ll help ensure student participation, reinforce classroom routines, and maintain a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additionally, at least one of the following:
- Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 48 college credits
- Passing score on ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment
- Previous experience as a school-based paraprofessional
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Genuine comfort with personal care, including dressing/undressing, diaper changing, and related bathroom assistance
- Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and adaptability
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct academic support throughout the school day
- Assist with all aspects of personal care as needed to support student participation and safety
- Foster engagement and belonging within the classroom
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to promote student success
