Overview:
The Summit PM Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Executive and Assistant Executive Housekeeping Managers in regular daily tasks including inspecting units, computer input, addressing guest and owner issues, overseeing turndowns, and managing any on shift staff such as housekeepers, public area attendants, houseman, and inspectors.
Responsibilities:
The Summit PM Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Executive and Assistant Executive Housekeeping Managers in regular daily tasks including inspecting units, computer input, addressing guest and owner issues, overseeing turndowns, and managing any on shift staff such as housekeepers, public area attendants, houseman, and inspectors.
- Monitor room attendants and support personnel performance, progress, and quality of daily assignments.
- Responsible for the knowledge and skills to assist in cleaning when the need arises, including completing stayovers and addressing guest concerns.
- Monitor and track ALICE tickets, ensuring timely completion and appropriate follow-up on all service requests.
- Maintain and update reservation system to reflect housekeeping boards accurately at the end of each day.
- Monitor the personal appearance of staff members and enforce the Big Sky Employee Handbook policies and guidelines.
- Assist in ensuring that work environments are safe for employees and guests/owners.
- Assist in coordinating and participating in special projects such as, but not limited to, deep cleans, inventories, supply needs, and documenting that they are accomplished within the specified time frames.
- Oversee PM operations and monitor turndowns daily.
- Required to know fire safety and evacuation procedures and incorporate them into training.
- Responsible for any and all miscellaneous duties as assigned, including documenting the progress of those duties.
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the housekeeping or a related professional area. Supervisory/management preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong math skills are required.
- Must be detail oriented, professional, and well organized.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and adapt to changing situations and environments.
- Heavy lifting is required.
