Job Description

Success at Big Ray’s starts in the stockroom. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Inventory Control Associate to facilitate our merchandise flow and maintain 100% inventory accuracy. In this role, you will need to balance technical precision with physical stamina—perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and organized in a high-speed environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Processing: Unload and verify incoming shipments against POs; tag, prep, and hang merchandise for the floor.
• Inventory Accuracy: Conduct daily cycle counts using NetSuite and RFSmart to ensure 100% stock integrity.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship customer orders and store transfers.
• Stockroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized backstock; assist with seasonal floor resets and offsite transfers using the company van (if applicable).
• Quality & Floor Support: Perform QA checks on new arrivals, replenish sales floor sizes daily, and execute price changes.

This is a non-supervisory position reporting to the Store Manager(s). This position requires frequent standing, walking, use of stairs, speaking and hearing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, retail, or similar.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to read and distinguish numbers/letters on boxes or item labels.
• Efficient pacing, maintaining both speed and accuracy throughout your shift.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with digital inventory management systems and scanning tools.
• Basic computer skills and digital communication: Microsoft 365 programs. 
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Personal interest or experience in hunting, fishing, camping, or working outdoors in Alaska.
• Valid driver’s license.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive wage ranging from $18-$22 per hour depending on experience, paid holidays, a 401(k) option, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and employee discount.
