What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snowmaker position at Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort?
Job Summary
As a Snowmaker, you’ll be on the front lines of our 24/7 snowmaking effort, operating and maintaining snowmaking equipment to support safe, reliable snow production. You’ll monitor equipment, follow site procedures, and work with your team to keep operations moving in changing outdoor conditions. Snowmobile operation is mandatory and experience helpful.
Duties
- Operate snowmaking equipment and machinery, including snowmobiles
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery; use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to address routine issues.
- Follow equipment safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with occupational safety regulations.
- Ability to follow safety regulations, comply with occupational safety requirements, and use PPE consistently.
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 80.0 per week
