Job Overview
As a Lift Operator, you’ll help guests enjoy a safe, smooth experience by operating a chairlift at our family friendly ski resort and providing clear, friendly guidance. You’ll monitor and maintain loading and unloading areas, follow safety protocols, and respond calmly to questions or concerns. This role involves outdoor work in the cold at a ski area, standing for extended periods, and assisting guests of different ages and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate chairlift according to established procedures and safety protocols; monitor conditions and report hazards or equipment concerns promptly.
- Guide guests through loading and unloading, provide directions, and deliver attentive guest services.
- Scan/check guest tickets
- Assist other departments as needed
Skills
- Essential: Strong safety protocol adherence, clear communication, and the ability to follow instructions and work outdoors.
- Essential: Ability to perform manual handling and lifting as required by the role, while using safe practices.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
