Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic CMA to provide support and assist residents in performing daily living activities. We are looking for a compassionate advocate for residents and their families. As a CMA you will be responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and record residents’ vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Help residents with mobility, including transfers and repositioning.
- Provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care.
- Respond to resident call lights and assist with other needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervising nurse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Work closely with clinical staff to ensure residents' individualized care plans are implemented effectively, meeting both physical and emotional needs.
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of Wyoming.
- Current CNA certification in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents with diverse physical and cognitive needs.
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with residents, families, staff.
- A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to seniors.
