Qualifications: Current certification through the Wyoming State Board of Examiners
of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (To be certified the individual must have at least an associate's degree.)
Reports to: SLP, Building Principal, Director of Special Services
Performance Responsibilities:
To aid and support the SLP in the provision of Speech/Language Pathology services
Terms of Employment: Wage and length of contract to be determined by the Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of support personnel.

To aid and support the SLP in the provision of Speech/Language Pathology services
- Provide direct treatment based on the SLP's treatment plans.
- Follow the directives of the speech/language pathologist.
- Document the performance of a student by collecting data and preparing records.
- Develop and implement materials and activities used within treatment sessions.
- Assist with clerical tasks.
- Attend IEP Team & student planning meetings.
- Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, and other related non-instructional areas.
- Follow district policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, the building principal, or superintendent.
