On-Call Laborer – Restaurant Equipment Moving

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Duties

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and products from trucks and containers.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including moving heavy items and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
• Drive box trucks for deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks.
• Proven ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physically demanding tasks.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous.
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and route navigation skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
