Big Apple Restaurant Supply specializes in providing new and used commercial kitchen equipment to restaurants and foodservice operations throughout the region. We are seeking an experienced technician to help us test, diagnose, and repair used equipment currently at our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and diagnose used commercial kitchen equipment (refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing, etc.)
- Perform repairs where possible to return equipment to working condition
- Identify and tag items that should be scrapped or recycled
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and equipment status
- Ensure a safe and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with commercial restaurant equipment (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Own tools preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to our Colchester warehouse
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible schedule, typically weekday hours
- On-site work only (no remote options)
- Pay negotiable based on experience
