Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various kitchen equipment in commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' appliances operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to their overall success. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate is currently working in this field, and is looking for part time extra work, hot and cold, holds all required certifications.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair kitchen appliances, including refrigeration units, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and solutions.
- Utilize field service techniques to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- Drive a box truck to transport tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Assist in the assembly of new kitchen equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair, particularly in commercial kitchen environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC principles is preferred.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a field service role is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience driving a delivery vehicle or box truck is a plus.
- Basic electrical experience related to appliance repair is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the job.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
