The Vice President of Education & Training ensures the maximum effectiveness of the organization’s staff and sales force by coordinating the research, development and presentation of sales associate and employee training and career development. Maintains Company compliance with regulatory agencies. May maintain records of educational requirements and accomplishments of sales associates.

1. The Vice President of Education & Training oversees the Company’s training and career development (95%), which may include any of the following:
- Formulate training policies and develop strategic and operational plans for control, management, and improvement of training and career development capabilities and for ensuring alignment with Company goals and objectives.
- Conduct needs analysis studies and confer with managers and supervisors to determine the Company’s training needs.
- Develop, write, present or direct the presentation and facilitation of any of the following: sales training, computer training, customer service training, company functions, seminars, workshops, meetings and events.
- Work with various department heads to develop and expand sales associate marketing programs. May be responsible to design and implement the Company’s master plan for recruiting sales associates, this may includes such activities as job fairs, career seminars and real estate school career fairs.
- Design and supervise the Company’s continuing education program, ensuring Company compliance with regulatory agencies. Prepare and provide necessary reporting to regulatory agencies. Maintain accreditation standing with real estate commissions.
- Maintain records and furnish reports. Construct and maintain training manuals and aids.
- Hire and supervise training staff and contracted training instructors. Perform administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the department, including employee safety, selection and development of employees, salary administration, budget administration, employee counseling and motivation, organization goals and objectives, and planning, organizing, integrating, measuring, and reporting the work performed within the department.
2. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years sales and sales management experience.
- 2 to 5 years training experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong computer skills.
- Thorough knowledge of all facets of the real estate
- Budgeting and financial planning experience.
- Experience writing, developing and conducting group presentations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
- Effective analytical, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
- Possess a creative, imaginative and entrepreneurial spirit.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Position may require a valid real estate and broker’s license.
Wage: $200,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
