GHR Education has an exciting opportunity for an LBS1 Teacher for the 2025-2026 School year!
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:40pm
- Pay: $57-$60/hr (weekly pay benefits, W2 employer)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: School in Romeoville, IL
- Benefits: Health, vision, dental, 401k
- Class: STLR Program Grades 1-2 and 3-5
- Duties: The Structured Teaching and Learning Room (STLR) program is a self-contained instructional program designed to provide intense instructional support focused on communication, social skills, and positive behavior to students with autism or other developmental delays in a small, structured learning environment. The STLR program also provides intensive academic instruction utilizing an alternate curriculum or modified curriculum.
Job Requirements:
- State of Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator License
- Illinois LBS1 Content Area Test
- Previous experience in a special education setting preferred
