Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $25–$26/hour (DOE)
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Job Description
- Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial statements for assigned properties
- Perform month‑end close including journal entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Review and approve accounts payable, deposits, and accounts receivable activity
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, audits, and client financial inquiries
Qualifications
- Property management or real estate accounting experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with property management accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata, or CYMA
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
