Bgesh is looking for eager and qualified IT Specialist to support our team with effective installation or configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for the Santa Fe Indian Health Center.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s in computer science or Equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a federal government background Check
- Ability to provide certificate of completion within 30 days of employment of the following trainings:
- Protecting Children from Sexual Abuse by Health Care Providers.
- IHS Quick Guide to Information Security.
- Ability to provide proof of immunizations
- Certified VM cloud server professional.
- Certified Network Specialist (CNA).
- Experience with EHR/RPMS.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with VM Cloud server.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as Network Administrator.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with SharePoint server.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with Helpdesk support.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Computer IT support.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in VOIP Phone applications.
DUTIES:
Managing and maintaining virtual machine environments on cloud platforms by configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems, ensuring security, performing regular backups, and implementing disaster recovery plans.
Diagnosing and resolving issues with software, hardware, and network connectivity for end-users.
Providing support in person or over the phone to assist user with IT challenges.
Evaluating Tickets, contact users, and ensuring timely resolutions or escalations to Tier 2 support
Identifying and resolving network connectivity issues, hardware problems, and software malfunctions to minimize and protect against threats.
Performing routine maintenance in evaluating network performance.
Assisting the SFIHC IT and ABQ area of staff with network connections and troubleshooting issues.
Maintain full administrative rights to all server systems, network resources, and data management/backup solutions.
Map related solutions for various projects and operational needs based on the policies of IHS with COR approval.
Perform monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
Performs security monitoring.
Perform backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and purge as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts as needed within the Active Directory application.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Repair and recover hardware or software failures.
Requires at least one IT support staff from IHS under direction as needed.
Install new/ rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, in accordance with IHS standards and project/operational requirements.
Maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Contribute to and maintain IHS system standards.
Recommend innovations where possible to automate system administration tasks.
Identify approaches that leverage resources.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Configure/ add new services as necessary.
Maintain operation, configuration, and other procedures.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Maintains data center monitoring of equipment.
Work Monday-Friday up to 40 hrs. as needed. Some holidays.
Provides occasional guidance, some of which is technical.
Provide training sessions to end users when necessary.
Weekly hours with timesheets submitted to COR.
Supervisor signs off on Timesheets.
Works independently without supervision following the program's needs and requirements provided

Ability to support Cochiti, San Felipe and Santa Clara Health Centers as needed.

SCHEDULE & PAY:
- 40hrs a week Monday-Friday.
- On Call as needed.
- May have to work some holidays.
