BFS Installs has grown from one location to four, with operations in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, and now Rossville, Georgia. We’re expanding our reach across Chattanooga and North Georgia, with plans for additional locations ahead.
We’re looking for hands-on people who take pride in their work and want to grow with us.
The opportunity
This position starts part-time, with work scheduled around projects. Hours will be limited and variable initially, with demand expected to increase toward spring. Full-time opportunities may develop as the location grows.
This could fit experienced installers, self-employed tradespeople seeking work between projects, or someone ready to start part-time and build a career with BFS Installs.
What you’ll do
- Deliver, assemble, and install desks, workstations, tables, cabinets, seating, and other commercial furniture.
- Complete furniture moves, breakdowns, and reconfigurations.
- Read installation drawings and follow manufacturer instructions.
- Use hand and power tools for accurate, quality installation.
- Protect furniture, floors, walls, and customer spaces.
- Record completion photos, paperwork, and customer signoffs.
- Assist with receiving, loading, and warehouse organization.
What you bring
- Experience in furniture installation, cabinet installation, finish carpentry, moving, assembly, or a related trade.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a professional approach with customers.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for project schedules.
- The ability to work with a crew and follow the installation lead’s direction.
Crew leadership, box-truck experience, forklift experience, and willingness to travel are a plus.
