New Chattanooga Location
BFS Installs is expanding into the Chattanooga market and is building a local network of experienced commercial furniture installers, installation technicians, and independent contractors.
This is a new location, so weekly hours will vary based on project schedules. Some weeks may have approximately 15 hours available, while larger projects and busy periods could provide 40 to 60 hours.
This is a good opportunity for experienced installers, tradespeople, or independent contractors looking for flexible additional work while establishing a relationship with a growing company.
As our Chattanooga operation grows, opportunities for consistent hours and expanded roles may also become available.
What You'll Do
Work may include:
- Commercial furniture installation and assembly
- Workstations and systems furniture
- Private offices and casegoods
- Conference rooms, tables, and seating
- Receiving, unloading, staging, and delivery
- Furniture relocations and reconfigurations
- Punch work and service calls
- Warehouse and material handling support
Projects will primarily support Chattanooga and the surrounding market, with regional opportunities available as needed.
Who We're Looking For
We are interested in experienced:
- Commercial furniture installers
- Independent installation contractors
- Furniture assembly technicians
- Commercial movers and delivery professionals
- Carpenters, cabinet installers, and mechanically skilled tradespeople
- Experienced crew leads with their own installation teams
Commercial furniture installation experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong related experience and mechanical ability.

- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Basic professional hand and power tools
- Ability to safely lift and move commercial furniture
- Ability to follow installation drawings and instructions
- Smartphone access for scheduling, photos, and project communication
- Professional appearance and work habits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Scheduling
This is not initially a guaranteed 40 hour per week position.
Work will be scheduled based on project demand and individual availability. Depending on the week and project schedule, opportunities may range from approximately 15 to 60 hours per week.
We are specifically looking to establish relationships with dependable people who are interested in part time, supplemental, project based, or contract installation work as BFS develops the Chattanooga market.
