Beyond Vision is a growing social enterprise that creates sustainable employment and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through our service and manufacturing facilities. As the number of products we manufacture grows, so does the volume of inbound and outbound parts and finished goods process through our warehouse. We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team.
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, verifying, and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments while supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role ensures shipments are accurate, compliant, and completed according to best practices and productivity standards
Qualifications:We Require
- 2–3 years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Forklift operation credentials (or ability to become certified)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle/NetSuite preferred)
- Familiarity with logistics and broker portals
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and perform physical warehouse work of customer/supplier portals/websites, and the daily physical labor involved with loading/unloading, stocking, packing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
- Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office apps, ERP, and other apps/portals relating to shipping and receiving.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient organizational and time management Skills
- The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
