Beyond Backyard Living Creations is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented landscape lighting installer to join our outdoor living construction team. This position will focus on installing outdoor lighting systems for custom backyard projects, including landscape lights, path lights, uplights, accent lights, deck lights, hardscape lights, low-voltage wiring, transformers, controllers, and related outdoor lighting components.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, professional work and understands the importance of making outdoor spaces look high-end, polished, and functional both during the day and at night.
Responsibilities
Install low-voltage landscape lighting systems for outdoor living projects
Install path lights, spotlights, uplights, wall lights, deck lights, step lights, and accent lighting
Run and bury low-voltage wire cleanly and safely
Install transformers, timers, controllers, and lighting zones
Make proper waterproof wire connections
Assist with layout, fixture placement, aiming, and final adjustments
Troubleshoot basic lighting issues, wiring problems, and fixture connections
Work around pavers, patios, retaining walls, gardens, pool areas, and outdoor living spaces
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
Follow direction from the project lead or foreman
Represent the company professionally on customer properties
Key Qualifications
Experience with landscape lighting, outdoor lighting, low-voltage wiring, irrigation, electrical helper work, or construction preferred
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a crew
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely
Able to read a tape measure and follow layout instructions
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
