Students typically have either global cognitive delays or a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum. Ability to develop positive relationships with young people and to work well with school staff membersGeneral understanding of how children learn and the social and emotional needs of childrenUnder supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events and other educational or non educational activities Classroom supervision of students in preparation for lunch, bus loading and unloading, cleanup, and play period, and general education classroom inclusionEscorting and supervising movement of students throughout the schoolParticipate in available professional development activities appropriate to district expectations.Compensation is set in accordance with the Beverly Teachers Association Unit C collective bargaining agreement . For the 2025-2026 school year: $26.84 per hour, Annualized to $30,126 for 182 work days at 6 hours 10 minutes /day.
