What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional Special Education- AIM position at Cove Elementary School?

Ability to develop positive relationships with young people and to work well with school staff members
General understanding of how children learn and the social and emotional needs of children
Under supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events and other educational or non educational activities
Classroom supervision of students in preparation for lunch, bus loading and unloading, cleanup, and play period, and general education classroom inclusion
Escorting and supervising movement of students throughout the school
Participate in available professional development activities appropriate to district expectations.
Compensation is set in accordance with the Beverly Teachers Association Unit C collective bargaining agreement . For the 2025-2026 school year: $26.84 per hour, Annualized to $30,126 for 182 work days at 6 hours 10 minutes /day.
