The E. Ethel Little Elementary School is seeking a long-term substitute Special Education Paraprofessional tentatively from January 5, 2026 through the end of the 2025-2026 school year (June 25, 2026 with snow days). This position is five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday) and 35.0 hours per week.
Essential Duties
- Assist and support professional staff in implementing the Individualized Education Program for students and other special education programming
- Support in the implementation of curriculum modifications for specified students
- Provide physical assistance to students with disabilities as required
- Facilitate establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior
- Support teacher with preparation of instructional materials
- Collaborate on school-based supervision of arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, bus duty, and /or classrooms

Cover general office duties as needed
- Provide assistance to the principal and staff in the daily management of the school
- Substitute at all grade levels as requested
- Assume other duties/responsibilities as designated by the Principal, Educator, and/or Designee
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve independently
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred
- This may include background in education including college and/or work experience
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
