POSITION SUMMARY: As QMS Manager, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control, ensuring compliance with ISO/API standards and developing/managing the Quality Management System (QMS) for Accelerated Mobile Power (AMP). Responsibilities include leading audits, maintaining QMS documentation, and driving continuous improvement in production and operations. You will establish KPIs and align quality initiatives with the AMP strategic goals. Key tasks include risk assessment, tracking non-conformance reports, supplier development, and implementing corrective actions to ensure all products and services meet standards and expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Develop and oversee QMS in line with ISO 9001.
- Align documentation with AMP Operations.
- Lead Quality Control and Supplier Quality control efforts for services and equipment.
- Drive QMS process improvements.
- Set QMS KPIs.
- Standardize quality control across all AMP operations.
- Mentor teams in risk assessments and NCR tracking.
- Support and/or Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure all products and services meet quality standards before deployment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Proficiency in spoken English language.
- Position requires daily in-person, predictable attendance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Science, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- 5 years in quality management required.
- 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
- Strong Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS): Extensive experience with managing ISO 9000 and API systems.
- Certified Lead Quality Auditor with experience in QA and QC leadership.
- Experience in oilfield services, hydraulic fracturing a plus, electric hydraulic fracturing preferred
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions effectively.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to set and manage KPIs, aligning quality initiatives with organizational strategic goals.
- Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams in quality control, risk management, and process improvements.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of quality control processes, supplier quality evaluation, and standardization of quality efforts across operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving non-conformance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in maintaining QMS documentation and tracking non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Proficiency with Quality Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with quality management software, data analysis tools, and other technologies relevant to tracking and improving quality metrics.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Commitment to driving process improvements and fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and quality requirements, including API standards.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Integrity and Accountability: Upholds high ethical standards, ensuring all quality practices comply with company and regulatory requirements.

The QMS Manager works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. They must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities, and are often times required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. QMS Manager may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, The QMS Manager must be able to lift 49lb.s and be able to lift 50-100lbs with a team lift.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
