Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the front counter
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist in food preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the food service area
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are followed through proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Support food industry best practices by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and managing kitchen or café areas efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Background in food preparation, food safety management, or culinary experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Retail math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or grocery store operations beneficial
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
