- Baking Bagels and Pastries
- Prepare and assemble baked goods, and pastries with precision and creativity, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Assist in high-volume food production, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality or safety standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as slicing, mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes for service or catering events
- Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients and supplies related to baking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, uphold food safety management practices, and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques necessary for efficient kitchen work
- Experience working in high-volume production environments within the food industry or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food safety management practices to ensure compliance at all times
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates familiarity with catering or restaurant operations is highly desirable
