Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages plus food with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling tasks with integrity and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and food safety protocols
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality presentation and timely delivery of food items
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or strong passion for coffee culture is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food service environments is advantageous
