Better Banks has promoted its SVP of Lending and we're looking for an experienced replacement! As a key member of the executive team, the SVP of Lending will lay out strategies to continue driving growth and profitability. You must have an understanding of market trends, a history of developing successful team members, and a strong commitment to providing high quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops & executes the lending strategy, defining goals for loan production and portfolio growth
- Implements, directs, and monitors lending policies & procedures, and ensures operations are effective and efficient
- Enforces credit risk policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines
- Manages and mentors high-performing lending professionals, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service
- Leads the collection process, implementing strategies to manage delinquencies & minimize losses
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless execution of lending programs
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and key business partners
- Represents Better Banks in the community and promotes our brand
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- 5 years' progressive supervisory/leadership experience in lending within a financial institution, preferably community banking
- Proven track record of managing a large loan portfolio and driving business growth
- Expert knowledge of lending regulations, credit risk analysis, and underwriting principles
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on financial data
