Responsibilities
- Reviews and verifies commercial loan application documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manages loan origination tasks from initial application through final approval, including ordering appraisals, title reports, and verifying escrow details.
- Coordinates with loan officers to facilitate smooth loan processing workflows.
- Prepares loan documents for closing
- Maintains detailed records of all loan transactions, correspondence, and documentation in accordance with banking standards.
- Enters new loans into lending platform, and performs file maintenance as needed
- Provides administrative support to co-workers
- Provides reports to lenders and management as requested
Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan processing within the financial services industry; prior commercial loan processing is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations & loan documentation, procedures, and processes.
- Familiarity with loan software platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations essential for credit analysis and income verification.
- Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately for data entry tasks.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients professionally.
