Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, and toasters
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Restock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment that involves serving customers and managing food or product displays is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
