Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to established protocols, adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines for safety and health standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine environment.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times.
• Follow environmental services procedures to dispose of waste properly and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of janitorial and custodial services across the facility.

Requirements

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, or polishing floors.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices specific to hospital or healthcare environments is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, or scrubbers safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
