Position Summary
BestDrive is seeking a high-impact National Sales Manager to lead national sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and provide leadership across our sales organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing the national sales strategy, ensuring strong field execution, and aligning product, service, and commercial initiatives with overall business objectives.
The National Sales Manager serves as the senior sales leader responsible for sales performance across the organization, working closely with Operations, Pricing, Finance, Training, and Marketing to drive profitable growth, improve customer experience, and strengthen overall commercial execution.
This position provides direct leadership to Field Sales Support and the Marketing Specialist, while maintaining indirect leadership and performance accountability for Store Sales Representatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
National Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute national sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Establish sales targets and revenue plans in partnership with leadership
- Define growth priorities and drive accountability for national sales performance
Product & Service Commercial Ownership
- Lead commercialization of all product and service offerings
- Ensure clear customer value propositions and profitable execution
- Partner with Pricing, Purchasing, and Operations to strengthen offerings
Sales Organization Leadership
- Lead Field Sales Support and provide indirect leadership to Store Sales Representatives
- Establish KPIs, performance expectations, and sales standards
- Monitor results and implement corrective actions to improve accountability and consistency
Marketing & Sales Alignment
- Directly manage the Marketing Specialist
- Align campaigns, promotions, branding, and sales materials with national sales priorities
- Strengthen coordination between marketing and field sales execution
Field Execution & Sales Enablement
- Ensure sales teams have the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed
- Partner with Training and Operations to standardize sales playbooks and best practices
- Improve field execution and sales capability development
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Operations, Pricing, Finance, and Training to support business objectives
- Provide commercial insight on products, services, and customer initiatives
- Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
Reporting & Forecasting
- Own national sales reporting, forecasting, and performance reviews
- Present results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership
- Use analytics and data to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 7–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Strong experience leading multi-location sales organizations
- Proven success driving revenue growth and sales performance
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Executive-level communication and leadership capability
Preferred
- Tire, automotive, retail, service, or related industry experience
- Experience leading both direct and indirect sales teams
- Strong understanding of field operations and sales enablement
