Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems.
- Perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems effectively.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in residential painting, and general facilities maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team efforts.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
- Good communication skills in English to document work accurately and collaborate effectively.
