Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
Do you like working with your hands and solving problems? If so, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance across the hotel and its facilities, ensuring optimal operation of equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems.
• Perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems effectively.
• Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in residential painting, and general facilities maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Experience with CMMS software for work order management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
• Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team efforts.
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
• Good communication skills in English to document work accurately and collaborate effectively. This Maintenance Technician role is vital to maintaining operational excellence within our facilities through expert troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and leadership in safety practices. Pay: $17.00 per hour
