About Us:
We are a busy, guest-focused hotel seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. From repairing guest rooms to caring for our pool and landscaping, our maintenance team keeps the property safe, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain guest rooms and facilities, including toilets, sinks, tubs, and fixtures
- Patch and replace drywall, paint, and caulk tubs/sinks as needed
- Clean and service air conditioning units
- Replace drapes, assemble furniture, and troubleshoot in-room technology (TV, telephone, etc.)
- Perform carpet shampooing, pest control, and pool care
- Handle landscaping, snow shoveling, and general groundskeeping
- Respond quickly to guest service requests and emergencies
- Support all other aspects of maintaining a commercial property
Qualifications:
- Prior maintenance/handyman experience required (hotel or commercial property experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Must be able to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling
- Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy items as needed
