Position Overview
The Hotel Office Assistant plays a key role in ensuring efficient back‑office and guest‑service operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable and comfortable stepping into different roles as needed — including occasionally assisting or filling in at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in person, by phone, and via email
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Coordinate communication between departments (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance)
- Prepare reports, schedules, and office correspondence
- Order and organize office supplies
- Support management with special projects and administrative tasks
- Fill in for front desk staff as needed, including check‑ins, check‑outs, and guest support
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility to assist with front desk duties when necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
