Job Description
Spark by Hilton Smithfield I-95 is looking for a hardworking maintenance person to be a part of our team. The successful candidate will help in the preventative and continual upkeep of the hotel and other projects. This individual will report to the General Manager. This person will be responsible for maintaining the conditions of the guest rooms, public areas and outside grounds of the building. Candidate must be able to work independent and unsupervised. Must be available to work some weekends.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, patching drywall, electrical, painting, plumbing, etc.
- Keep accurate completion and task records in the project file

- Ability to be a clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgment
- Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy

- Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive interpersonal skills; excellent customer service skills
- Previous maintenance experience, while NOT required is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
