Duties

• Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers and dryers, ensuring proper settings for different fabric types and cleaning requirements
• Handle materials with care using manual handling techniques and push carts to transport laundry loads safely across the facility
• Sort, fold, and prepare textiles for delivery or storage while maintaining high standards of sanitation and garment care
• Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to safety standards in production and sanitation protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper lifting techniques for heavy loads and adherence to safety protocol guidelines
• Assist with special laundry services such as dry cleaning or textile cleaning processes when required

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, or managing inventory levels
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards teamwork and client satisfaction
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation, industrial dryers, and textile cleaning processes is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining high levels of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout all duties

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
