Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring presentation and quality meet established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food handling, storage, and replenishment to ensure freshness and safety
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
• Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support catering or banquet setups when required, including food presentation and serving duties
• Handle weight-based food portions accurately using basic math skills to maintain consistency in servings
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness through regular cleaning routines and sanitation practices
• Assist with dietary accommodations or special requests to meet guests’ dietary needs

Skills

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Strong food preparation skills combined with knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests face-to-face
• Knowledge of wine service or bartending experience is a plus for enhancing guest experiences
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting weight safely in accordance with workplace guidelines
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Basic math skills for portioning ingredients and handling cash transactions confidently
• Experience in catering, banquet service, or hospitality roles adds value to your application
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, safety management, and dietary accommodations

Pay: $11.50 - $11.75 per hour
