Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded using Chorum or similar hotel management software
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing outstanding customer service and resolving issues promptly
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety and security for guests and staff at all times
- Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation for management review
- Assist with night security checks around the property to uphold safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or front desk operations is highly preferred
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel accounting practices
- Proficiency in OPERA or other hotel management systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages or bilingually preferred
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Experience working in resort environments or hotels with multilingual guest populations enhances your suitability for this role
